2. Accessing the Patient’s Registration Page

Log In:

Sign in to your MDLand iClinic account using your credentials.

Locate the Register Icon:

On the dashboard, click the Register Icon.

Search for an Existing Patient:

A box will appear with two sections.

Use the left-hand side labeled “Look Up Existing Patient.”

Enter the patient’s Last Name, First Name, or Date of Birth.

Click Go.

Retrieve Patient Information:

Select the correct patient from the list.

Click Retrieve to open the patient’s registration page.
3. Viewing Insurance History

Locate Insurance History:

On the patient’s registration page, click the First Insurance Tab on the right side.

You will see the Insurance History Box, displaying all active and inactive insurance records.
4. Deleting Insurance Records
A. Deleting the Primary Insurance

Ensure You Are in the First Insurance Tab:

Click the First Insurance Tab.

Delete the Insurance:

Click Delete next to the primary insurance.

A confirmation box will appear—click OK.

Confirm Deletion:

The page will refresh.

In the Insurance History, you should see the insurance marked with a strikethrough, indicating it has been deleted.
B. Deleting the Secondary Insurance

Switch to the Second Insurance Tab:

Click the Second Insurance Tab.

Delete the Insurance:

Click Delete next to the secondary insurance.

A confirmation box will appear—click OK.

Confirm Deletion:

The page will refresh.

In the Insurance History, both the primary and secondary insurances should now be crossed out.

If not, click the Refresh Button.
5. Swapping the Insurance Roles
A. Making the Old Primary Insurance the New Secondary Insurance

In the Second Insurance Tab:

Locate the Insurance History on the right side.

Apply the Old Primary Insurance:

Find the line containing the old primary insurance.

Click Apply.

A confirmation box will pop up—click OK.

Confirmation:

The old primary insurance will now appear as the new Secondary Insurance.

In the Insurance History, this insurance will no longer be crossed out and will be classified as secondary.
B. Making the Old Secondary Insurance the New Primary Insurance

In the First Insurance Tab:

Locate the Insurance History on the right side.

Apply the Old Secondary Insurance:

Find the line containing the old secondary insurance.

Click Apply.

A confirmation box will pop up—click OK.

Confirmation:

The old secondary insurance will now appear as the new Primary Insurance.

Both insurances will no longer be crossed out, with their roles swapped.
6. Finalizing the Changes

Save Your Changes:

After swapping the insurance roles, make sure to click Save to finalize all updates.
