2. Accessing the Inbox & Outbox

Log In to your MD Land iClinic account using your credentials.

Locate and click on the Inbox/Outbox Icon on the dashboard to open the messaging interface.
3. Using the Inbox
Filtering Inbox Items

By Date of Service (DOS):
-
Select DOS on the left panel.
-
Enter the desired date range manually or using the calendar icon.
-
Press Enter to view items filtered by the date the patient was seen.

Review the DOS Column to confirm the applied filter.
-
By Received Date (RECV Date):
-
Select RECV Date on the left panel.
-
Enter the date range.
-
Press Enter to view items based on when they were received.
-
Check the Received Column for confirmation.
-
Difference Between DOS and RECV Date:
-
DOS: Indicates the date the patient received services.
-
RECV Date: Reflects the date the item was received in the system.
-
Note: These dates may or may not coincide.
Date Range Options

Choose predefined ranges:

1 Day, 7 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days

Custom Date Range:

Select specific From and To dates manually or using the calendar icon.
Additional Filtering Options

By Patient:
-
Select One Patient on the left panel.
-
Enter Last Name, First Name, or Date of Birth in the search box.

Click Go to retrieve results.

Choose the patient from the list and click Load Patient.

Verify by checking the Patient Column in the inbox.

By Attending Physician:

Click the Attending Physician dropdown.
-
Select the desired provider.
-
Hit Enter to apply the filter.

By Employee (Sent To):
-
Click the To dropdown on the left.
-
Choose the employee from the list.
-
Click Enter to refresh the inbox.

By Lab Status:

Check Final to display final lab results.
-
Check ABN (Abnormal) for abnormal lab results.

Confirm lab statuses to the right of the Subject Column.

By Urgency:

Check Urgent Only to filter for urgent messages.

By Message Type:

Click the Message Type dropdown.

Select the type you wish to view.

The inbox will refresh accordingly.

By Status:

Click the Status dropdown on the left.

Choose from the available statuses (e.g., Checked In, Pending).
Sorting Inbox Items

Sort by:

Received Date, Date of Service, Type, Patient, Status, To

Use the Sort By dropdown or click arrows beside column headers.
Managing Inbox Items

Mark as Checked In:

Check the box next to the item.
-
Click Check In.
-
Confirm the action in the pop-up box.

Delete Items:

Check the box next to the item.
-
Click Delete.
-
Confirm deletion in the pop-up box.
4. Using the Outbox

Click Outbox to view sent messages.

Apply the same filters and sorting options as in the Inbox:

Date of Service, Received Date, Patient, Message Type, Status

Use Custom Date Ranges for specific searches.
5. Composing Messages

Click Compose Message or the Message Icon.

Select the recipient from the Send To dropdown:

For staff, choose the employee from the list.

For patients, click Search Patient, enter patient details, and select the patient.

Add a Subject.
-
Type your message in the message box.
-
Attach a patient if needed by:

Clicking Search Patient.
-
Entering the patient’s details.
-
Selecting the patient from the results.
-
Mark as Urgent if the message requires immediate attention (for patient messages, this will notify them via email and mobile).

Click Send.
6. Navigating Through Messages

Page Navigation Tools:

Use the Go To dropdown to jump to specific pages.

Use Arrow Keys to navigate page-by-page.
-
Click First/Last Page Buttons for quick navigation.
