2. Accessing the Schedule 

1. Log In:  

• Sign in to your MDLand iClinic account using your credentials. 

2. Locate the Schedule Icon:  

• Click on the Schedule Icon from the dashboard to open the appointment schedule. 

3. Selecting a Provider:  

• From the schedule view, select the provider whose schedule you wish to view. 

3. Understanding Schedule Shortcuts 

• Each appointment will display small letters in the top-left corner, representing different shortcut actions. 

• Hover Over the Letters:  

• Place your cursor over the letter to see a brief explanation of its function. 

4. Shortcut Keys and Their Functions 

A. X – Cancel Appointment 

1. Function: Cancels the selected appointment. 

2. How to Use:  

• Click the letter X on the appointment. 

• A confirmation box will appear asking if you're sure you want to delete the appointment. 

• Click OK to confirm cancellation. 

B. L – Load Patient Registration 

1. Function: Opens the patient's registration page. 

2. How to Use:  

• Click the letter L on the appointment. 

• You will be redirected to the patient's registration page to view or update their information. 

C. C – Copy Appointment to Clipboard 

1. Function: Copies the appointment details to the clipboard for easy duplication. 

2. How to Use:  

• Click the letter C on the appointment. 

• A confirmation box will appear asking if you're sure you want to copy the appointment. 

• Click OK to confirm. 

• To paste the appointment:  

• Click on a different time slot for the same or a different provider. 

• When the appointment editor opens, click Paste from Clipboard. 

• All fields will auto-fill with the copied patient information. 

D. R – Reschedule Appointment 

1. Function: Allows rescheduling of an existing appointment. 

2. How to Use:  

• Click the letter R on the appointment. 

• The appointment editor will open with the status set to Rescheduled Appointment. 

• Select the new date and time. 

• Click Save to confirm the changes. 

E. S – Patient Check-In 

1. Function: Marks the patient as Checked-In. 

2. How to Use:  

• Click the letter S on the appointment. 

• The appointment status will update to Checked-In. 

• Note: If the setting is enabled, this action will automatically create the associated office visit. 

F. H – Patient Home Page 

1. Function: Redirects to the patient’s homepage. 

2. How to Use:  

• Click the letter H on the appointment. 

• You will be brought directly to the patient's homepage to view their medical history, appointments, and other relevant details. 

5. Best Practices 

• Verify Before Cancelling: Always double-check the appointment details before confirming cancellation. 

• Efficient Copying: Use the Copy and Paste shortcut to quickly reschedule recurring appointments. 

• Patient Check-In: Ensure the Check-In shortcut is used at the time of the patient's arrival to maintain accurate visit logs. 

• Update Patient Information: Use the Load Registration shortcut regularly to verify and update patient information.
